HIRING- Hebrew and Jewish Studies Teachers

Temple Emanuel Religious School (TERS) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Hebrew and Jewish Studies teachers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. Our first day of Religious School is Sunday, September 27 with our Back-to-School festival!

At TERS, we bring Jewish learning to life through our core values of Limmud (Learning), Kehillah (Community), Ruach (Spirit), and Hachalah (Inclusion). Our teachers work alongside engaged clergy, an Israeli shaliach (emissary), and teen madrichol to create meaningful, joyful experiences for students.

Sunday positions available (Hebrew & Jewish Studies): 9:00 AM–12:15 PM

HIRING – Full-Time Early Childhood Educator 

 

At Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center (TEECC) we believe early childhood education is  meaningful, intentional, and deeply rewarding work.  TEECC is a vibrant, full-day, year-round early childhood program serving families with children ages  18-months to 5-years old. Inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and our Reform Jewish  context, we strive to cultivate a culture where learning is co-constructed, creativity is honored, and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

What You Will Do: 

Co-construct curriculum based on children’s interests and inquiries  

Design thoughtful, aesthetically rich classroom environments  

Engage children in long-term investigations and creative expression  

Collaborate daily with a team of dedicated educators  

Build meaningful partnerships with families  

Contribute to a school culture grounded in respect, dialogue, and continuous learning 


Qualifications: 

High school diploma [or equivalent] required. 

90-hour Certificate in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development OR 4-year College  Degree in Education or a related field. 

Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting. 

Commitment to ongoing professional development and desire to grow as an educator.

A collaborative spirit 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Physical ability to ensure the safety and care of young children, including, but not limited to,  lifting (up to 40 lbs.), carrying or chasing children, sitting on/rising from the floor, etc. 


Compensation: 

Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience and education. 

Contribution to health, dental, and vision insurance

120 hours of paid leave per year, plus additional paid holidays
