Consecration

Consecration is a joyous and meaningful event that marks the beginning of formal religious education for our youngest students. During the consecration service, children are welcomed into the world of Jewish learning with music, blessings, and a sense of kehilla (community), symbolizing their entry into a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and connection to Jewish traditions. Consecration also includes a beautiful family blessing that symbolizes the passing of knowledge from generation to generation (L’dor v’dor).
