Madrichol

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated teens to be part of our Madrichol program next school year!

Students in 9th–12th grade can apply to serve as paid Madrichol in our Religious School. Madrichol are teen teaching assistants who support teachers, help younger students, and serve as positive role models in our classrooms. Through this program, teens gain leadership skills, responsibility, and meaningful experience working with children – skills they can take with them beyond the classroom.

Madrichol are assigned to a class and help support students and teachers during Religious School on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday school day will run from 8:45 AM–12:30 PM.

Madrichol are paid minimum wage and will also participate in after-school teen trainings throughout the year to help them grow as leaders and classroom assistants.

We are also excited to offer an MIT – Madrichol in Training program for students who will be in 8th grade next school year. This program is designed for teens who are not yet old enough to be paid Madrichol but want to begin learning what it means to help in the Religious School, support younger students, and grow as teen leaders. MIT participants will receive SSL hours for their work.

Interested teens, new or returning, should complete the Madrichol/MIT application here: https://forms.gle/Gp6RCJr4E18sJPpu7

Application deadline: June 30th

More information about interviews, placement, training, and any required paperwork will be shared after the application is submitted.

Even if your teen has a scheduling conflict, please do not be alarmed – in many cases, we can work around it.
