From Generation to Generation
Become a member of Temple Emanuel's Endowment Planned Giving group by including Temple Emanuel's Rabbi Warren G. Stone Rabbinic Endowment in your Estate Planning. Here are three easy ways.
- Make a Bequest in your will: Cash or a percent of your estate – "I bequeath the sum of $xxxxx to Temple Emanuel's Rabbi Warren G. Stone Rabbinic Endowment of Kensington, MD or "I devise and bequeath xx% of the remainder and residue of property owned at my death, whether real or personal, and wherever located to the Temple Emanuel Rabbi Warren G. Stone Rabbinic Endowment, Kensington, MD
- Making a Bequest of your Retirement Assets: By designating the Endowment as the beneficiary of all or part of our IRA (using a beneficiary designation form provided by your custodian), the full value of the gift is transferred tax-free at your death and your estate receives an estate tax charitable deduction.
- Life Insurance Policy: You can designate Temple Emanuel's Warren G. Stone Rabbinic Endowment as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. The policy is included in your taxable estate when you pass away, however your estate will benefit from an estate tax charitable deduction for the value of the gift to the Endowment
