    Cooks needed for June!

Temple Emanuel is looking for a few additional cooks for the So Others May Eat (SOME) program in June. Shepherds pies are needed by Tuesday, June 12th. If you are able to help please contact Beth Resnick at resnickb@hotmail.com Thank You!

So Others May Eat (SOME) Program June is one of four months that Temple Emanuel provides a dinner meal for the homeless and other hungry people who depend on SOME for their meals. The Shepherds Pies we provide feed over 350 people per dinner. Please follow the Shepherds Pie recipe without making any changes.

There are casserole pans on top of the freezer in Merv’s office (the custodian), which is just past the library on the lower level, through the double doors on the left. The larger pans are for a double recipe; smaller ones for a single.

The pies should be cooked and brought to the Temple FROZEN and covered in aluminum foil whenever the Temple is open, and placed in the freezer by Thursday, June 15th,. Please put your name on your pie(s), and add your name to the list that is hanging on the freezer door, with the number of pies you have delivered in parenthesis. A Temple member will then take all the frozen pies to SOME.
