We welcome you to participate in Temple Emanuel’s outreach efforts. We want to serve interfaith families as well as prospective Jews, Jews by choice and Jews who have felt alienated from the Jewish community.
What is outreach? . Outreach is part of a national effort by the Reform Movement in Judaism to address the need to assist interfaith couples, their families, Jews by choice and those who have felt outside the Jewish community to feel welcome within Jewish life.
Our goals for outreach are to; sensitize the congregation and the community to the needs and concerns of Jews by choice, interfaith couples and their families and those returning to congregational life. To provide a network of friends, resources and a support system for Jews by Choice and interfaith families. And to encourage people to take an active role in Temple life and make Jewish choices for their families through education and community support.
