We are thrilled to have our own Diane Raphael agree to volunteer her time for the long awaited Torah Study!! Come join this introductory exploration of the weekly Torah portion. Learn how to study the peshat (literal meaning of the text), and the drash (finding the meaning through comparing one text with another or with our own experiences). Emphasis will be on linking Torah and Jewish traditions and customs to our own life and today's cultures and realities. Diane Raphael is very knowledgeable and loves to discuss Torah.
